I saw today, someone wants to sell an island.

It only cost about 60.000$ so if someone want to send me a gift so i can buy my own island in the sea...

More serious than buying an island, i would want to buy one of those small places where people grow things, lots of flowers and small summer houses and so. I walked by there once with a friend, and have seen photos from summers it looks like paradise. In some ways it is, people from city get a small piece of nature not so far away, and make it a little supernice summer place. One sells their corner for 5000$, if i had that much in the savings smiley, maybe i would buy the area.

I would then want to find a nice little summerhouse to put in the middle, it can be a very small house. Then plant nice bushes all around it, and flowers and nice things around house. My own little summer place with a flower garden... well maybe not. I just thought about such things today when i saw people selling their houses in a newspaper.

In homepage i am thinking how it should look when i make changes. It has to be easy updating, and i got an idea for how it could look with some new graphics thingys.

I guess maybe some guests looking around here think the green bouncy smiley is a bit annoying, but i think he is cool so he stays in homepage bouncing forever.

What more to write about, i saw a good movie in tv lately. It was "Shakespeare In Love" and i really liked the story. I should go see theatre sometimes, i want to see the new movie with funny Mr Bean in it, but beside that it could be nice to look at theatres sometimes instead.

Oh! Now i remember, something i like to see in tv is traveling programs. Today i saw a visit to Barcelona and a sailing ship trip somewhere around Scotland (UK). Those tv programs always look so nice and i want to go wherever they visit. If i wasnt so busy being a princess, i would sometime want to work in travel tv programs.

Now i think i play Sim City 4 game a while, it was long time since i built more on the Big Orange city. Tomorrow i continue with homepage so i can save changes to internet, it should be ok before weekend.

Finally the Linux webserving works!

I spent much of this day experimenting with that boring computer, now i will leave it alone for at least a week. Brain is tired from so much computerthinking i dont even feel like writing in the Diary much. I will go to bed right now and rest, tomorrow i will put live camera on again, and the time i am home tomorrow i plan to write emails (at last) and also write my next part in a special shared story. Maybe some know that idea, write a part, then i continue, then other writer continues. It is sort of fun, but i write slowly and not so perfect english. My imagination is good though.

Our shared story is a princess adventure, princess sneaks away from castle, ride out alone into forest, and unfortunately bandits capture her. But now i will give Mr Bear and all other hugfriends their daily *hugs*

I found my way back to computer again.

It got a bit too much earlier when learning about those Linux thingys, after two days of that i only did other things. Now in evening i am too sleepy to do anything in computer world, but here is a *hug* and a

Maybe i am wasting time trying to make changes on old computer, i just dont know how to do all those things. First i tried to put a small Linux on old computer, it started and i got into the text systems things. But then what? The first big problem is getting Internet connection to Linux, it doesnt work. I know it is ment to be automatic, with something named DHCP, but perhaps that only works with Windows computers. It said when installing Linux could try to get information from DHCP but it got no information and so no internet. And then ofcourse no webpages can be put on old computer... Well, after half a day reading things and trying the smallest Linux, i started from nothing again with more installed things. So old computer got sort of a windows thing instead of only text. It was really slow, and no internet when i started some webpage browser named Mozilla, clicking a link to Google didnt work. Maybe i wasted some cdrom and a lot of hours trying the Debian Linux, a friend told me this evening i should probably get FreeBSD instead, it is used by very many to keep webpages. Also huge websites use that, so i guess it could be worth trying to get that to work. If i cant get FreeBSD to work i will give this idea up, put back the old Windows, and forget Linux... Now i want some nice hugs from Mr Bear, maybe some funny tv to see, and then sleep. Good night. *hugs*

And yes, after i try FreeBSD Linux and that, if that works or not, i will get back to emails and homepage and usual things in computer world.

I didnt get to city today, i got so much into finding information about putting all needed functions on a Windows web server (wich has never worked for me...) and now how to get a Linux on my old computer. I heard of Linux many times from computer guys but i didnt know there were so many different. I will show interested later or just visit www.linux.org and search for downloads. First i thought to try a Linux wich can be together with Windows, but then i forgot that idea. Because the old computer only had internet serving things anyway, and it can be cleaned to put new things on. I put my computer to save Debian Linux this afternoon, it is biiig 4Gb on 7 CD to download. Even with my fast internet it takes time to save all that. But i read a small installation should only need maybe 200Mb, so i wonder what is on all those CDs? I guess i will find out later. I will dive into this new (but old) idea to try Linux on old computer so maybe i am away a while and worry about that. Often when i find new good ideas or interesting things i just want to dive into them until done, with this web serving things it is mostly that i need explanations from friends who know about these things, find wich programs and files to get, and things like that. But one cool thing is maybe there can be free web hosting on a Happy

World domain later, i think that would be nice.

I know there is also security things friends have to help me with, and a web serving computer may need email too. Oh well... i will go now to a friend who knows more than me about these thingys and bother him with questions.

Sunshine outside today, i hope sunshine finds many other people too.

So i am late with internet things, but today i think i can finish most other things on my to-do list. One thing i should do today is visit the bank, me and Mr Bear are not millionaires or anything, but we want to keep taxes in a good safe place. Our big smiley is really heavy with saved moneys, mostly because smiley is full of coins... but we should sometime count what is hiding inside the smiley and put it in a bank account or something. Another thing wich isnt so positive news, is my new clock suddenly stopped working. It was strange, because i bought it about three weeks ago, and when i looked at it latest Saturday morning it had stopped on 5.35 or 17.35 i dont know. I will have to take it back to shop and ask if they sell clocks with old batteries or something?

I remember now when me and mom was in city the day i finally found a clock i liked, there was a 50% sale in a jewelry/gold/clock shop. I found one clock there i liked, it was a bit special because it had a red background, most clocks i looked at have white or blue backgrounds. Anyway, the goldish clock with red background cost quite a lot. Not as much as one of the more expensive things over 3000$... Anyway, my new clock is not much special or so. Why i liked it was because it was small and shows time clearly, it also has illuminated time pointers (or whatever they are called in english) so i dont need to put my arm up in my face and use a magnifying glass to see time. But now it isnt working so time stopped i guess. But i have time in my little phone.

And i have time in the computer.

Now something completely different... even if i am slow with internet things, i am now beginning to get ideas and motivation back. One thing i really want to create are sport sites. But i want them to have their own domain names. So if there are any web experts here... If i want my skating site to have a title like "Skating World" or something, wich is a good domain? I see some get names like Skating-World.com is that better than SkatingWorld.com or other way around. Also when i get those sporty domains (i will make two sport sites!) i dont want to pay web hosting costs. I could afford it but there is a free solution and free is good. I have studied computers and such things, and have my own oldest computer as a web server. It has only a P100 brain and 40Mb memory so not a new supercomputer. But it has worked ok for a year.

I learned ok how to get it working and even to modify the Apache server configuration things a bit. It runs on the older Windows 98. Bla bla bla... well i could point domains to it, i learned how to put many domains on one computer, probably same as some web hosting companies do instead of having hundreds or thousands of IP numbers for domains. But i never got CGI things to work on the old computer. I think for that it would be better with that Linux thingy, but... i know nothing about that. So if someone can help me a bit with putting Linux, Apache serving, FTP, and Perl CGI on the old computer, i would be very happy. Just so technical people know, i have a clever brain so i will learn if someone helps me with questions. Maybe the old computer is just too old to install the Linux, but i hope it can work. I think there is 2-3Gb harddrive on old computer, but webpages and picturs dont really need so very much place, so if the Linux doesnt take much more place than a Windows then that is no problem.

As old computer is now, i could still point sport domains, and maybe i get my own for my homepage and things, to old computer. But in homepage i have specially coded scripts and things, they need CGI and SSI and things so i cant move homepage easily from here where it is now. It would be sort of like moving my homepage home to my home, because old computer is out there in hallway next to new computer.

I guess i can make sporty pages with no CGI things, but it would be better if i can use some codes there too. Like my cool guestbook i got from a friend, nobody else has a guestbook like mine.

I am not sure my old computer is a good web hosting place, but if someone helps me try and get it as good as an old computer can get, helper could probably get free web hosting too. Maybe friends can get free internet homes too, as many homepages as the old computer can handle.

Why i lately thought about this is because a domain name costs from 35$ per year and less. With webpages on home computer only cost is domain, electricity, and internet wich has to be paid anyway. Cheapest option i saw is 15$ per year if a domain is paid 10 years ahead. So yes me and Mr Bear would really want our own webserving computer, it will save Happy World taxes for more interesting things than paying bills.

I just searched and saw skatingworld.net is bought by some domain selling company. Me and Mr Bear will not buy that domain for "at least $688 and may be as high as $10,000."...

Enough about clocks and computers and webserving for now. I am going to eat an apple, then walk to city and get my new clock fixed. Then home to stare at computer, write emails, work on my homepage a little, research Linux and whatever...

Today i have been busy almost whole day, so now i only want to hug Mr Bear and be lazy in sofa watching tv or whatever.

I got no email writing done because a friend visited most of day and then ofcourse i cant just sit at computer and ignore friend. After friend went home i got popcorns and a chocolate bar for me and hugfriends weekend candy.

If there is some good movie in the tv this evening i go make popcorns. The biggest popcorn-eater in the castle is Ture, he may be small and blue but you should see him eat popcorns.

He sometimes dive into the popcorns bowl and swim around there and *grompf* like Mr Bear when eating popcorns. I like popcorns too.

If there is no interesting tv maybe i go to computer corner. Now i go to cozy sofa so Mr Bear doesnt think i will leave him alone there watching tv.

Today i am a bit extra happy.

Sometimes very small things can make me extra happy, finding a nice email or just seeing the sun shine when i wake up.

Today i searched a bit for special little things needed to make nice cloaks, i already had two gold closures. But could i find any of them now in city shops? No. They had some other designs, but not those that are the best. So i searched on internet today, first to find what they are named and trying to find who makes them. I didnt find who creates the closures but i found one, only one, online shop wich sells those i want for my own cloaks and for cloaks in the Happy World Shop later. Wee!

Sometimes Internet is quite useful. So Mr Bear said i should import some of those closures, some silver and some gold, to the Happy World. They are imported from Oregon all the way to our little happyworld.

When they get here i will replace closure in my own newest white cloak so it is the type i want. Then later most of the closures are for creating nice cloaks to others who may want one. Well no more about that, there are other things i have to think of with that too, wich colours are available and such things... Today i will not be as lazy as yesterday instead get some things done. I have thought to clean my email box completely this weekend. That will be a lot to read and answer. First i will write back to those who sent email recently, but then also go back months and see who maybe was forgotten. I just get many emails, read everyone, delete some stupid, and only sometimes write back directly when i read email. So i have many emails that are old and i should have maybe sent something written back. I often felt a bit bad about that, so now i will try and do something about it. The idea has come up many times, that i should catch up with all emails, even those that may be month old, and then either write back when i read emails, or have a weekly email-day when i write answers. I dont know wich is best, probably best to try and keep mail inbox empty with quick answers to those that write interesting emails.

I maybe begin that today, or tomorrow, but it is the first thing i am going to take care of in computerworld. After email cleaning comes many other things...

Anyway i dont really know what fun things to do today, maybe i dont do anything special at all. I could just stay home with Mr Bear and watch tv. Tomorrow i will leave computer on so camera can see us again. I know some miss visiting our happy little castle. *hugs*

I just remembered in the internet shop i found today, they also has lovely Unicorns, Pegasus, and also Unicorns with wings. They are soooo cute.

If someone now gets very curious where the shop is, ask me and i will send a link.

Hihi. I saw advertising for some new movie lately, it had Mr Bean in it.

He is so funny i think i will have to go see that movie later some day. I guess it isnt really Mr Bean who is in the movie, but same man who made that funny tv.

Not much computer time lately, i am sort of saving energy to sit and stare at monitor a lot next week. This evening i should take care of washing clothes, but i dont feel like that at all. I want to go to bed and hug my hugfriends.

Today it seems i have mostly been resting on bed thinking about this and that. Some important things and some others. There is one very important decision i have to make soon, at least i feel that way. Or maybe there is no choice, there should not be, because only one choice is the right one, but still it is a big step to take. Or something like that. I got to no decision today so i guess a bit more researching and thinking is needed... enought about that. After a whole day in bed the hugfriends all had something important to tell me. They want their weekend candy and also nice sandwiches. I think they want the same things i want today...

Yesterday i was away almost whole day until late evening with mom. So hugfriends were all alone in the castle with only the cheap food in our kitchen. I feel sorry for my hugfriends they dont want a cheap month, i dont think i want that either. So maybe i forget about that... I can save with not buying any things, and forget saving on things we should eat. So after i write this i go to shop and get some delicious things for a cozy evening with hugfriends. *hug*

When i came home around midnight yesterday the hugfriends were all in bed sleeping, except Mr Bear. Mr Bear said Ture had got afraid of the darkness, because i wasnt home to turn the bed lamp on as usual. Mr Bear isnt afraid of the dark he is a brave bear.

But the little friendly blue snake Ture doesnt like darkness much. Mr Bear was there to give Ture hugs though so he could feel safe and go to sleep.

What did i do yesterday? I met mom in city, she shopped some things while i just followed around. Then we went to a restaurant and i got a big nice dinner. In evening we had decided to go and see a movie, so we saw The Ring. What a scary movie.

I think it was good, but the ending sort of was not the best... if you have seen it, or will, you may notice the same. Oh well, not much done today, except thinking. Thinking is good thought so i dont mind spending a day or a half day sometimes doing that. Now i will walk to shop, find a lot of candy for me and hugfriends, and probably something nice to eat too, then hurry back to our cozy bed and watch tv all evening so i get todays thinking out of my head. Now i remember i could write what i ate for dinner yesterday. I think english name would be like fillet of Oxen, and some potato gratin or however it should be writte to be proper cooking words. Also nice vegetables and mom said we should share some wine so i had that too. I dont usually drink wine much, but with that food it is nice and also makes me a little extra funny. *giggles*

I really like nice food, so after yesterday i just cant stand having a cheap month, at least not a cheap food month. So i agree with the Garfield cats, Mr Bear and Ture... we want nice food!

I will remember to make lasagna for the Garfields some day next week, i like cooking and want to make my hugfriends happy.

Now away i go to find candies and food...

Today i finished a new cloak for myself.

It is white, but sort of natural white, and in sunlight the outside looks like shimmering with gold and silver. I thought first i wanted a really white cloak, but then i realised it will be difficult to clean if something gets it dirty. So better with the not-so pure white, but as it looks in sunshine it was great choice. Happy me!

I will show the white cloak later in some modeling photos and also for my little shop. The new cloak has light pink lining inside, so a bit girly Mr Bear say to me he prefer modeling the nice blue cloak i will be better in the white. But my best hugfriend thinks i look nice in blue too, his favourite colour. *hug*

Today i also visited my mom, she have me some food that is good in my cheap month so i have to get a bit less food. I dont know if i can have a whole cheap month, is will not be so funny. But still after a big spending month, i sort of want to remind myself that there is a lot else wich is fun except shopping things.

I know some miss the live camera page, but it will come back sometime soon. One good thing with me staying away from computer a lot lately, is that i begin feeling it could be fun to make homepage better and such things. Before the sad days i was tired of computer, and then everything sort of felt uninteresting... but i should get webpages done sometime and i prefer before summer. Summer i want to let my computer rest and be outside instead.

I was reminded of my links pages today when a great horse website wanted a link. I visited and looked around and now i really want to go for a funny bunny ride.

Maybe i create the new links things first in homepage, so other who want people to find their webpages can get a link. Then maybe i find interesting places, and other who visit here too. It could be good for me as a break when i make my own webpages, to visit and see what others create. Most days i dont look around webpages much, but some days (mostly when weather isnt nice) i can look at a lot of different topics.

Maybe i can create the links for weekend. Tomorrow i dont know exactly what i will be doing, but almost no computer time. So i guess on Saturday i can write emails and other things. Now i will make a warm cup of... ? and soon go to sleep. Hmm. I dont know english name for the warm drink thingy i will make a cup of. But it is sort of reddish and has a lot of vitamin c. Vitamin C is good. Smiles are also good.

Now everything is nice in the Happy World again.

I have so much to do i will have to stay away from computer more time. I have a lot of sewing to do after the latest shopping. So guess what i bought... yes again, new fabrics for dresses.

Waiting to become new clothes are 10 heaps of different colour fabrics. That is more than 80 meters of fabrics for those curious, it cost a lot of taxes to get that but Mr Bear wants his princess to dress like a princess. We will just have a "spend as little as possible" month now and instead of buying things to get happy, we will be happy with *hugs* and nice days. I think also sunshine will keep us happy.

Still i want to find new flowers for my room, but if we are going to have a cheap month in April i should find new green friends next month. Also some things needed for the photo studio later, but since i have no fansite yet that is maybe no big hurry. I wonder a bit about the Happy World currency. Why i will use Paypal in the Happy World, is because Mr Bear can get his monthly taxes, it can be used for my little Shop, but the Happy World can also send moneys to citizens.

I thought a lot about that, and we could have competitions or things so happy citizens can win moneys. One idea i already know is coming, is that if someone writes a good fan story about me, Mr Bear will send moneys for it and put it in the Fan Site. I remember some good writers with interesting and sometimes sexy imagination wrote stories about me. Those are fun for me to read, and also for other citizens, so i think a good story is worth a payment from the Happy World Treasury (our big smiley!). Anyway, a big question is should the Happy World use Dollars, or Euro... I have noticed Dollars loose value a lot the last months, and with certain negative things going on in the real world, that may continue. For me who lives in Europe the Euro would be a better choice. I guess i do what i want... but i will have a meeting with Mr Bear about this currency thing soon. We have so nice meetings even when they are about economy and taxes.

Mostly our meetings are *hugs* and *hugs* and *hugs* and between them we think about things that have to be thought of. Oki maybe enought about moneys. I found a special fix to get the photo memory card to work properly.

Strange because the company who made camera have no fix for big memory cards, it was someone who has same camera as me who made a little install thing to make things work. It is a special error thing about Compact Flash card above 32Mb, so if someone has problems with that i found a solution.

Maybe in this cheap month of no spending i can create the Fan Site and prepare for more time in the photo room corner next month. I have no idea if the photo corner will become good but i hope so. Then i can model all my clothes and whatever in my own place. Cool.

Oh now i get stuck here writing on computer, i should move to the sewing. Oh i just remember... i talked to a friend about music, he showed me a sound card i should have. It is much better than mine. The sound card he showed me cost quite a lot, but it has better sound (i guess) and more important, it is USB card. So i could connect that and write music in my room, without having to take computer in to my room. Some maybe remember i hate noisy computer and want silent room, so my computer is outside room hiding in its own place above a wardrobe. I guess that sound card thingy go into my wanted list for future. But first i want new flowers.

Now time to eat lunch and then get back to sewing and those things.
