Princess Tessy - The Princess Diary - July 2003 July 31 19:34 Just making a bit more of the updating to get a better finished homepage, somehow i never did that but i guess better late than never...  Rest of year there will be a lot more webthings created. Tessy Rules! July 29 23:10 Wee! Now we dont have to be so warm and lazy in my room. I slept away most of day even if i was ment to get up 8 in morning. Anyway, then i went on important mission to get a fan for Mr Bear, he needs it more than me at least i am not furry. So i thought first to go to a shop wich i had seen advertising fans a week ago. Oh well... i found a lot of things there but they had 0 fans. Maybe some hundred other people saw their advertising too and got there before me to cool their own homes...  So i just walked across a street and looked in another shop i thought had such things. And they had two fans left, lucky me. I remember reading about this last summer when it also was extra warm, there were no fans to buy anywhere people buy them like crazy if it gets warm. But now Mr Bear has a fan, i tried it when i came home and it really is nice. I think i will borrow some cool winds from his fan too sometimes, it blows enough fresh air for all of us if we are together. Maybe i go see if i can get the last fan they had in shop tomorrow, then me and the hugfriends can have a hurricane in the cozy sofa if two fans blow on high speed there...  Also i remembered an advice i got from my little webmaster, to get a power protection thingy for our computers. Could be good if lightning hits someplace too close, then the computer brains will not díe from it. So i found one of those too. That is about all i have done today, tomorrow i guess i have to do everything i was supposed to do yesterday and today wich is a lot. Tomorrow morning if i dont get up at least before 9 i tell Mr Bear to jump on me so i wake up. July 28 18:09 Today i went to a big flower shop to see wich new flowers and pots i want in my window. It was nice there and so much to choose from. But i didnt get any new green friends for window today, because there was just too much to choose from. I sort of know how i want window to look like, but i just couldnt see wich things i should get from the shop to make window nice again. I think i will go there again tomorrow and look around. They also had very small cute cactuses, but i prefer plants that dont hurt if you touch them. Also there was a room with different sorts of roses and such but i didnt go in there it could be difficult to leave such a nice room with no flowers to take home... Yesterday i began updating a bit in the homepage, the rest could be slow because it is summer and winter is a better time to sit at computer a lot. Now i am going to have a cool shower. July 24 19:26 After eating a nice sandwich i thought to look around Internet for a nice new skating dress. As you can see i found one i liked, sort of white and a bit sparkly. July 24 17:20 Poor Mr Bear. *hugs* I think it is too warm summer lately, but at least i am not furry like Mr Bear. He wants to go someplace cooler. I will get a fan for us, because i noticed especially the day when i was writing in computer all day (two day ago) it got really warm in my room. It was easy to find where extra warmness comes from, its the computer monitor. Anyways... i now have made the most tricky things i wanted to add in Live Window, so i will begin updating homepage soon, maybe this evening some pages dissapear, some pages change, some new appear. One idea i have thought about a while is food things. I guess some dont care about the latest eaten picture in live camera page, but i think it is a nice idea sometimes it makes me hungry. It hasnt got updated all the time though, but that will change. Not only that but i really like nice food, so i will begin trying my best to make nice dinners every Sunday. Everyone who is hungry can visit and hopefully my cooking isnt too bad. If i find enough cooking words in my dictionary i will also put the recipes or whatever there is to write about the Sunday dinners, so if you think it was nice food it could be possible to eat same thing wherever you happen to have your own kitchen. First i will make is probably lasagna, i know my Garfield cats have been waiting for that a loooong time. I like that too. I dont write more here for a while, the time i sit in computer corner lately there are other things to try and take care of. Hope everyone has nice summer. *hug* July 23 20:45 I dont know what to write about, but i havent added any notes in the Diary for many days so i thought a could at least be something. Or maybe two. July 09 23:55 Yesterday evening me and Mr Bear saw a nice movie in the tv. We missed the first part of it but saw a lot, i remembered i had read about it when i saw it because it is a bit special. Movie is "Russian Ark" or how the ark is spelled i dont remember... anyway, it is a two hour movie with no camera cuts at all. One camera moves through amazing halls in St Petersburg as they travel through history. They see theatre things, a lot of art, people from history being around there, and there is also a ball in the end. When i read about it i learned they had to re-record the movie some times until they could get through all the scenes with no mistakes. I will maybe see if it can be rented somewhere later so i can see all of it. Today has mostly been a day with not much getting done, i made some order in my clothes and other little things. Also as often happens me and Mr Bear had a lazy afternoon hour in the cozy sofa, that is always so nice. It is my favourite place to think about things, in sofa with Mr Bears hugs. I often get good ideas there, or just feel and relaxed away from whatever else may be worrysome in life. Tomorrow i will probably be outside all day if weather is nice. I hope everyone else who has summer and maybe free days from work has nice days. Now i better go to bed, there is as usual a day tomorrow too. Good night *hugs* July 07 23:21 After looking at the tv an hour and finding there was not much interesting there, me and Mr Bear thought it would be nicer on sofa to hide under my blue cloak and hug each other. It was very cozy, Mr Bear is so nice to *hug* *hug* *hug* And now it is bedtime soon i think. Then when i carried Mr Bear to bed i realise he doesnt have his own pillow. He sometimes rest on my pillow in daytime, and sometimes he sleeps on half of it. But then often i take whole pillow and poor Mr Bear gets nothing to sleep on. I think he should get his own nice fluffy pillow, Mr Bear too think that sounds nice. And then if Mr Bear is alone in my bed (he often is) he can be cozy with both pillows, and sometimes maybe i can borrow Mr Bears pillow. Sometime this week i go get another pillow and sew a pillowcase for it, i think Mr Bear would like a purple pillow maybe? At least purple would look nice in my cozy pink bed, also purple is sort of a royal colour for the bear king. *hugs* July 05 19:02 I beginned making a new wallpaper thing today instead of homepage, it will be named Runaway Princess Bride when i get it all finished. I am so tired of computerthings now i think it is time for a break. I will go to food shop and find some delicious things for me and the hugfriends to eat rest of weekend, maybe some candy and such things too. July 05 12:53 Yesterday was a bit boring, computer things isnt really my favourite thing to do a whole day. It wasnt much problems building the new computer, but then installing the Linux and moving things from old webserving computer... that took many hours to get all ok. Now it works though, so i can at last try to get some order in Happy World webthings. Best thing also is the new webserving computer is a lot better than the old, i will not write what differences there is but the old computer had too much to do it needs a summer vacation. I did get an idea for old computer though. It isnt good for advanced webthings, but it can ofcourse send normal html pages and pictures and such ok. So maybe i open my own free webhosting place for friendly people. If i do that it will be on a tessyrules.com or similat domain so no use for people who dont like the Happy World to apply for free space. I will ask the little Webmaster if this is a nice idea, and then maybe domain opens. It will be nicer than Geocities and other places, because even if there will be no advanced things, a Happy World free webplace will have no advertising and definitely no annoying popups. Enough thinking of computers... i have to give Mr Bear many hugs now because the little webmaster took so much moneys from Mr Bears treasury. *hug* It is a bit cloudy weather today, i think i stay inside and continue fixing homepage so it can begin get updates. Also i know some wait for the live camera to come back, it will come back when i have made the new Live Window. There are some special things i want to put inside it, sort of tricky things to do actually. Anyway... there is a lot to do in computerworld, and also i have things to do away from computer. So i better stop writing text here.July 04 13:15 It was sort of fun to begin making the little shop yesterday. It isnt ready yet ofcourse but i made some photos for it and looked at a similar internet shop to see how they do things. I think same as real shops the shops window should look nice so someone wants the things for sale. I dont expect many to buy things but it is still fun to create that part of Happy World. Today me and the little webmaster visited city again, to get the last things for our new webserver. The tower thing and a motherboard, we got an extra nice price for the last things, thank you sales person. Anyway, i guess me and the little webmaster, and probably Mr Bear too, put our clever heads together and build the computer. It isnt really very complicated, but reading instructions carefully is a good idea. I thought i could try and make pictures of the building so people who never opened a computer, or perhaps sometime thought about building or updating their computer, see a bit how it looks like and how to do. I sure am no computer hardware expert, but i have opened my own computer some times to update inside it. Oh well... guess i go help my hugfriends put the webserver together. It could take rest of today to get it all working, especially installing that Linux wich is a bit more tricky than Windows XP wich installs itself.July 03 09:55 Good morning. Today it looks like another very sunny and warm day so maybe i get all tired and lazy later. But now in morning i feel like i have found energy to do things again, and probably a nice breakfast will help too. I got idea to begin making the first part of the Shop today. I sometimes get comments about my dresses and things, well those i sew for myself i could also create for others who want them. First there will only be nice cloaks in the Shop, but i will as soon as i can also put the special Photo thing there. Yes, sometime soon there will be printed photo(s) to get, they will ofcourse be in a special frame. I want those there before i add dresses, because dresses will be expensive and printed photos will not cost much. Why things i sew will cost much is mostly because i am no factory, sewing things take a lot of time for me because i do everything as carefully as i can. I wouldnt wear my own sewn clothes if they werent well made... i dont expect anyone else would want that either. This is my very first internet shop, it will not get many things, but with some help from a friend it whould all work soon. I dont know yet what photo to put in the happy frames for shop, but it will probably be a princess-y photo first. There shouldnt be any problem to make other photo prints in future though, maybe i make them collectors items only some of each so they get extra special to own... then maybe first time i sell something in eBay auctions. Well i could make a little vote thing about that later. Now i will go make a photo of the happy frames, i have had some of them for a long time they are perfect for photos from Happy World! July 02 21:24 It is so extra warm summer since i got home, i have lost all energy to do much. Monday when i came home, i found Mr Bear waiting in my sofa he got a lot of hugs. I had thought to do at least two things when i came home, bake buns for Mr Bear (he wanted that) and finish the new dress. But after i had a cold drink with Mr Bear on our sofa, we both fell asleep. It was just so warm and i know furry Mr Bear also think summer is sometimes too warm. The lazyness continued yesterday, and also today... i guess people who live in warmer countries are better used to warm days. I like summer a lot anyway, and being lazy with Mr Bear isnt boring at all. *hug* Anyway... i did ask Mr Bear and he thinks it is fine if i bake buns for him and everyone else in Happy World this next weekend. So i will do that. And the dress i have mostly some hand sewing left to do it should be finished also for weekend. Today i did do something though, even if i almost melted under the warm sunshine. Me and the Webmaster visited city. I dont think anyone out here in Internet knows who is the Happy World Webmaster, i will take a photo of him and show tomorrow. Webmaster asked Mr Bear for moneys because we need a good webpage server for Happy World. Me and the little webmaster have looked around for what is needed to get a new computer working, and so today we got the first things. It will be quite a good webserver i think, at least it gets more brain power than my own computer. Mr Bear is a bit grumpy nobody sent us any help with computer costs, that makes me a bit grumpy too. I didnt buy long expensive computer cables for my own fun some month ago, i would have preferred to buy a new skating dress or peanuts for Mr Bear. Also we in Happy World dont buy a new computer for our own fun mostly, it will be a webserver to serve all you thousands of Happy World tourists. Oh well... The short trip to visit relatives was fun. We had great weather almost every day, they made super nice food for us, and we also ate at two great restaurants. I especially liked an Italian restaurant, only problem with that restuarant was the air conditioning was off and it was very warm in there... but the food was delicious. Me and the useless cooking english i cant explain well what i ate, but first was some clam soup with nice tomato and herbs things. And then pasta pillows filled with scampi shrimps and cheeze, and around them was a nice lobster sauce. I think all my Garfields would have loved that restaurant, they like lasagna i dont think they had that there it was a fine restaurant, but Garfield cats like also other pasta food and whatever. We also visited a museum it was quite interesting to learn a bit more of history. Also we saw a really cool red Ferrari come up from one of the houses near where my relatives live. Not many have such very expensive cars, but then my relatives live in a rich corner of Stockholm so not much surprise seeing a car like that show up. Wow... i must have at least some energy left today because i write a lot on computer. Now i will go to food shop and find something drinkable to keep cold for tomorrow and later days. Especially Mr Bear needs a lot of cold to drink now in summer. When i come home again i will take a photo of our Webmaster, some probably have already seen him but dont know he is the computer expert in Happy World.
