Princess Tessy - The Princess Diary - October 2005 October 28 22:52 I hope nobody forgot International Teddy Bear Day yesterday?  Me and hugbears didnt really do anything special, just our usual many hugs. But i think next year we will be doing something special on October 27th. Big *hugs* to all friendly huggy teddybears in the whole world! *HUGS* Now i go make some yummy toasted sandwiches for me and Mr Bear, then we see some movie in the tv. I will go see the Wallace and Gromit movie soon, didnt feel like going today first day will be really crowded for sure.October 27 22:22 We got the new silenced computer box today, but me and the little webmaster will wait with the fun of computer surgery until tomorrow or later. It comes with no power thingy or cooling fans, so we got two big 120mm fans too, they are almost as big as the little webmaster he better not get in the way or be blown away from a storm... Anyways i got the new box because the old onces are getting old. How they look isnt really important or so, since they are hidden away in their own place outside my room. Noise is also not all that big of a worry. But after a lot of gaming past months, the gaming graphics card i bought latest broke suddenly. Its not the newest or best anymore ofcourse...  but when i bought it it was one of the very best, GeForce 6800gt. Well i got a new one to replace it, so thought maybe it got too warm or dusty in the old computer box. It does have one extra cooling fan, but dust does gather in there slowly. So now i got the new one, with dust filter and room for two big fans. Should be enough to keep things running without failures i hope. Maybe i get one for the second computer brainy too, depends how tricksy it is to put together the silencing padding in there and moving all things from one place to the new. Actually while my gaming graphics card was gone for replacement, i got annoyed waiting more than 2 weeks, so suddenly went and got a 6600gt graphics card too. So i have two gaming graphics cards now i guess...  Only use one for now though, second computer doesnt really need fast graphics. Blabedibla... anyway i cant wait to see the Wallace and Gromit movie. Swedish morning tv gave it 5 points of 5, from the Happy World i am sure it will get 5 of 5 too. The little i saw so far made me smile. October 27 18:25 Me and Mr Bear looked a bit on internet payment solutions today, we found one reliable and easy to use for Non-Adult content. Wich means, the Citizens webpages appearing during rest of this year will be just that. Ofcourse. Taxes will be 10$ per month, so not much at all. We wont accept AmEx though, but i assume most people with one of those credit cards also have a Mastercard or Visa. Mr Bear will ofcourse also be happy to take donations later while working with taxes on his nice green office pillow. And in fact... becoming a new Happy World Citizens will require more than just some dollars. For one thing, you might have to visit Mr Bear while he is awake and working. Nobody dare wake him up while we sleep.  Anyway, i dont know how many or few are interested in more updates and various things, but taxes will be used wisely (mostly, unless i see an expensive pretty dress i just have to have... ) and what we dont use for Internet fun will go to some useful place like the Red Cross or World Wildlife Fund. October 26 16:44 On a different kind of note, Mr Bear who takes care of the Happy World economy, think it may be a good investment to buy Roche stocks. Because the company that owns Tamiflu will have no competition for a while, they own the rights to it so even if licensing away manufacturing they will make lots of money on this bird-flu issue. I read India plan to have a generic medicine out next year though, who knows. Anyway me and Mr Bear snooped at the Swiss stock market, and sure enough Roche is moving up... just a little inconvenient perhaps to buy stocks there. I dont think we will bother, but Mr Bear thinks it will be a somewhat safe place to invest money, and could be a lot of profit over a few months too. Just a little economic news from us in the Happy World. We are soooo experts on stocks and things. Not really, so dont take me and Mr Bear too seriously. *hugs* October 26 00:39 It was snowing outside, dont think it will stay white outside but now i have put my first footprints in snow after this summer. I just hope there arent too many very-cold days, wich is colder then -15C in my opinion. Although it depends on winds and whatever else. And if its too cold to want to go outside to do something or just a walk, then i can stay inside. Mmm, new baked scones, a warm cup of tea, and lots of hugfriend *hugs* in our sofa, makes me forget really cold winter weather any day. It could be nice with some visit to a warmer place this winter though, maybe Spain or somewhere i dont know. So many places in the world one could visit. October 25 22:11 Had a boring headache most of today so not much fun happening. Well some nice things while resting in the bed happens, when i get nice *hugs* from my hugfriends. But so far not even Mr Bear's magic soft paws has helped my poor head. No headache pills around either, i will try an evening walk instead maybe it helps. Never know, maybe the sudden winter coldness outside scares away the headache. October 25 07:13 Watched morning tv news. One thing that kind of upsets me, is when some birds get the bird-flu, you know the one that has a 1/100000 possibility to infect a human, they kill thousands and thousands of birds that are not sick to prevent the flu from spreading. I think that is sick. I mean, animals are living beings, nobody would even think about such a solution for humans. I know humans and animals arent considered equal by most people, myself i dont mind eating meat or so at all. But hearing about mass-slaughtering so many innocent lifes makes me sad. It is not fair. October 22 17:27 I just got an idea that might save me lots of time, unfortunately it is about computer programming and that sure can make ones brain overheat... But i do have a clever brain, so i think i will get the results i want. October 22 01:00 Boring tv this evening... I cant wait to go see the new Wallace and Gromit movie. Think it comes here next month so whenever i go see it, that wont be a boring evening. October 21 17:26 The little webmaster got one of these things at the link. Should be good to keep computer brainy silent, cooled and dust free. Not that the computers are in my room but anyway those look like really good houses for computer things. Just looked at the instructions for putting in all the sound dampening things inside, might be a little adventure that but i think me and hugfriends can handle it. And if it work well we will get one for second computer brain too, just to have them both be the same... October 21 15:45 Today is a nice day for some shopping. October 13 16:06 I am actually testing the new webcamera again, although was months since i bought it i still think its quite a lot newer then the really old one. Anyway webthings isnt the first priority lately, kind of obvious i guess. But i will get to it sooner or later. *hugs* October 03 21:16 Yesterday me and hugbears saw a really funny golf comedy movie in the tv, i dont know the english name but anyway... fun tv is fun. I think me and hugbears better try to wake up for some funny morning tv too if there is any, sometimes funny cartoons i think a laugh is a great way to start a day, and also end it. More funny tv! Anyway webthings will be a bit slow, but well things happen when they do. Today i snooped a bit for fairy wings and other things. For halloween... could be, but not only that. Those who like the Happy World will see sometime. *hugs* October 01 16:36 Mmm we have such a nice weekend me and hugfriends. Hope you too have nice days. *hugs* We are thinking a little about maybe having some costume fun for Halloween, i was ment to be a hug-vampire last year but it never happened. So maybe this year, it would not be so difficult to do as i already have most of the clothes. Or perhaps something else, but since there will be enough costume and modeling fun soon anyways no big worry for the spooky day ahead.
