Princess Tessy - The Princess Diary - July 2008 July 29 10:16 Me and little webmaster researched some things and while not webthings they could be useful for future. We figured out how to make a program send things over Internet. So that is one step closer towards my own chat thingy or whatever-else kind of thingy that needs to send things to and from places. July 27 18:00 Waked up in afternoon and little got done yesterday, but now is another day. I will however try to get to bed before midnight so i wake up in the morning tomorrow it is best to keep days in daytime and nights at night. July 26 19:14 By the way, i will probably use ICQ for chatting with my citizens for a start. This is most likely only temporary, and now i think some people wonder how and why and what will be used in the future...  well, the Happy World has in its plans for the future its very own multi purpose 'client' thingy. It could possibly include chat, webcam, games, cookies, duties, various alerts and such. Alerts? Well, when the Princess rings her little silver bell for service someone better be listening! So many fun old ideas i had for such a long time... July 26 17:47 Me and little webmaster got so busy we were up most of the night. It wasnt planned but i had a big cup of tea, and then another... and then i couldnt sleep anyway. It is a little annoying to upset the sleepyhours again but at least things are getting done. Now another cup of tea because it feels like it should be morning, although my mind has already come up with another little idea as far as planning of webthings and such goes. Planning and doing things in order means i might not get much on homepage done today or so, but every big cup of tea gets me closer. And ofcourse the clever little Garfield helps a lot he is the bestest webmaster in the world. So he says anyway. I will feed both him and me and all the other hungry Garfields here in the castle lots of yummy lasagna when we can get to homepage webthings. And not to forget my citizens ofcourse there will be lasagna for you too. *hugs* I will make the lasagna myself, it was long ago since i did. July 26 00:24 Me and the little webmaster Garfield are busy bees in computer corner... July 25 14:40 Another fresh try to get some webthings happening around here for weekend. *hugs* Since i dont have citizenships done i cant even let citizens help decide what is most important, so i will get that early in list of things to do. Just know that no matter how little appears to be happening here, there is more being done elsewhere, and almost everything i do is for a happier happy world. July 20 13:48 [link] Just a quick link to a Youtube video clip with a new name i discovered recently related to economics. Jim Rogers. I saw him talk in congress giving the US Fed boss and another one a rather harsh listen. But he is most likely correct, a credit bubble of this magnitude just about has to fail if things are ever going to be corrected. Its like dealing with a big problem now, or delay the problem and have it even worse in the future. Back to my serious working weekend... July 19 14:33 Happy world webthings have to wait a bit, because i need to complete something else before next week starts. Is just how things are. But if i get this something done early Sunday or so maybe i can complete some things around here too. *hugs* July 16 17:34 I helped Mr Bear buy back a smaller lump of gold for less than the big one we sold. That way it doesnt matter as much if value goes down. We will buy more smaller pieces while price moves upwards, because we both think it will over time. Now Mr Bear get an extra big hug from me, he will get that every time we buy another little piece. A little piece is 10oz, anyhow enough about this for now even if it occupies much of my time lately. Hope everyone who likes the little happy world is having a nice summer. *hugs* July 16 17:04 Poor Mr Bear his lump of gold lost more value than we want to for the moment so we sold it. He is dissapointed on those markets and their lowering of golds value, but we might buy a new lump once markets calm down a bit. It appears oil price and dollars are a major price decider for gold value, at least now while US senate are talking.  So anyway i listened more to news about increased inflation both in EU and US and so gold could still be getting more valueable, just not right now. Me and Mr Bear wisely decided to wait for a calmer day and until then I will be busy with my part of our efforts to gather back value our lump of gold lost. Hugs and positive thinking until tomorrow. On another note some of the senators there in the US appear to see the real problem behind the economy problems.July 15 12:53 Just to share a little about what keeps me occupied in the middle of summer. Maybe some remember the picture i created about Happy World Economy and how it went from happy to not so happy. Well me and all hugfriends here in the little castle are using all our brains together to make that change to normally smiley again. Today Mr Bear decided to join the efforts and bought a lump of gold. Well he didnt buy the gold just the 'market position' or how i should write it. But he bought 100oz of gold for 984 US dollars per ounce, and we think that lump of gold will become more valueable during the rest of this week. So lets hope we think correctly, Mr Bear will get many extra hugs no matter wich way prices go. The other hugfriends have not specialized in an area of things yet but we learn every day. My part of things is just (well its not all that easy) following the world market trend and gather moneys for us all on indexes. I will share more about this later but for now i better have my lunch and resume watching world markets. For those who might remember from the recent past also, we here in the castle set a goal to buy 100 gold bars of 100 gram each for the Happy World. That is something i intend to make reality. July 13 16:16 Next week things will start getting some shape around here. *hugs* I am quite occupied with other things than webthings, but before next weekend those who want to be my loyal citizens of various kinds will be able to let us in the castle know about it. I will admit that while my thinking has gone in various directions through time little progress with webthings really get done. That isnt very surprising to me at least since working in more than one direction isnt very clever. Oh and this has nothing to do with me being indecisive or such I am the expert at decisionmaking Princesses are the bestest in the world at that. *giggles* July 08 13:43 There it is, my sparkly tulip sceptre. July 08 13:29 Just thought i should write something here. Me and the hugfriends are quite hard at work preparing for the future, between lots of hugs ofcourse. I hope to start updating webpages next month as we start the (probably) long journey towards the first big goal. On another note some of my pretty dresses are becoming smaller, or is my waist getting bigger... Lady Bear says a proper lady will wear her corset every day, maybe i should be a proper lady everyday then i couldnt eat too many cookies or such. Oh well i surely havent grown so much it will be quite easy to return to a little smaller. I will at least update with a new little picture here in the diary hope some like to get a first glimpse of so far unpictured royal regalia.
